This is a very attractive vintage open semi-circular basket. It is handmade out of steel, skillfully constructed in the medieval style, and fixed with steel rivets. It is difficult to date and has no makers' marks that I can discover. It is nicely patinated and weathered. It may have originally held a terracotta or glass bowl and sat in an Iron stand. It now has many functional and decorative purposes.

To retain its rustic charm it has only been lightly cleaned and waxed ready for display.
