A nice pair of Victorian sugar snippers. To be used either hand held or in a stand fixed to a base. A Victorian kitchen "must have" used to snip off chunks from cones of refined sugar before grinding them up in a Pessel and Mortar. These are beautifully made out of steel and despite having seen plenty of use have remained in near perfect condition, retaining the steel spring, locking lever and stand spigot. Only slight wear on the blade ends, but these could easily be resharpened. Lovely steel patina, Ready for display.  

They measure just over 8 inches in length, 2 ½ inches at their widest, or 200mmx 70mm.
