A charming and very old pine nesting box. Possibly French and made out of skilfully cut, thin timber sections in the form a small house, with hinged side doors that would have been raised by the breeder to check the eggs incubation progress. A lovingly hand-made item that has lots of character and signs of age but still very solid. I've owned this great little bird house around twenty years and planned to clean it up and re wax it but in the end decided that I liked it the way it was. Looks great on display. 

Measuring: 5 x 5 x 8 inches tall or 140 x 140 x 200mm.
