This charming little white porcelain pin dish was made for the by the luxury German ceramic manufacturer Villeroy and Boch. It bears a wonderfully stylised powder blue motif depicting the Dove of peace and an olive branch resting in the palm of a hand. With the Latin phrase; Pax in tua manu below. From the Latin: Peace is in your hands, victory is in the hands of the gods.

The rear bears the full Villeroy and Boch trade mark emblem and the commission details. "Association "Le Coeur ouvert sur le Monde" HUY Belgium. . Further research on this would undoubtedly uncover the origins and date of this interesting little piece.

The item's condition is virtually as new, with no damage, repairs, chips, dings, or repairs.
