An amazing Victorian meat press, used for squeezing the cooking juices from boiled meat. A high quality, well-made press, constructed out of steel with a robust detachable frame to the top and a screw down “T” handle that passes through a threaded brass boss. Built  to last and it has done.

The steel frame and body show signs of pitting to the surface, which add to their character and are in keeping with the piece's age. Once recommissioned, it could easily be used again in a period kitchen. Complete with its original steel mesh, it looks great on display. 

Measuring: 6 inches or 150mm in diameter. 10 inches or 250mm in height with the handle lowered. 15 inches or 380mm in height with the handle raised.
