Purveyors of Curios, Collectables & Fine Tat

A medium-sized Cornishware Blue and white mixing bowl bearing the green shield mark, which denotes that this jug was manufactured by TG Green between 1930 and 1960 in the tiny village of Castle Gresley, Derbyshire.  This lovely functional piece has a wonderful form of great proportions, with two grip handles to the sides of the rim. It is in lovely original condition: free from chips, cracks, damage or repairs. Also free from crazing or heat damage which is often seen on this type of bowl.

A nice even colour, with light usage marks, mainly to the glaze on the bottom mixing surface, some tiny blemishes to the glaze which were commonly made in the process of manufacture.

A very nice early mixing bowl in great condition. I have it sitting on a sunny windowsill full of lavender where it looks wonderful!

A lovely piece for a Cornishware collector or for re-use.

Standing just over 3 1/2 inches tall, 8 3/4 inches including handles in diameter or 90mm x 225mm.

UK shipping is included in the price. Collection from Derby is welcome.
