Possibly Monart or Vasart of Scotland, this vibrant blue and white speckle glass vase is a great looker. Unfortunately, the flat ground base has no makers' marks, which is a common omission among some art glass creators. The transition from dark blue to white is lovely. It hasn't had an easy life, with a slight graze to a small area in the top two inches. I have tried to show this in picture number seven. It is noticeable in certain angles and can be felt with a fingernail.

That said, it is still a handsome piece that looks wonderful on a sunny window sill holding fresh or cut flowers. It has a chip-free rim and only minor chips to the heavy base.

It measures approximately 7 inches tall and 2 x 1/4 inches in diameter. Or 180mm x  60mm
