This great cast-iron greenhouse piece has both function and design. It was originally part of a Victorian greenhouse ventilation roof light. It is a genuine relic of a time when quality counted and things were built to last. Foster and Pearson were prolific and successful garden building manufacturers based in Nottinghamshire. They manufactured greenhouses, many of which are still in use today.
It is in great weathered condition and free from cracks or repairs. I have given it a light clean and applied wax to protect and bring out its natural colour and patina. A decorative piece in its own right it could be placed on display or reused for iits original purpose.
It measures roughly 12 inches x 6 inches x 3 inches thick, or 300mm x 150mm and 75mm.
UK mainland shipping is included in the price, or a discount is offered for collection from our Derby warehouse.
