A genuine relic of a time when quality counted and things were built to last. This great little cast iron plaque once adorned a cast iron oven and proudly proclaimed numerous important details. Ed Deane and Beal were London-based kitchen Range manufacturers. The number one being their smallest and according to research their most efficient. This Particular plaque bears the military broad arrow and therefore probably came from a stove used in a barracks or mobile kitchen.

It is in great weathered condition and free from cracks or repairs. 

I have given it a light clean and applied wax to protect and bring out its natural colour and patina.
