A matching pair of 12-tonne cast iron Central Wagon plates. Dating from 1959, having done thousands of miles in their time. They are both in great weathered condition. Free from damage or repairs. Lovely items from my collection. Originally used to identify the weight and ownership of railway haulage trucks.

I have given them a light clean and applied wax to protect them and bring out their natural colour and patina.

Measuring: 6 1/2  x 11 inches or 165mm x 275mm and 18mm thick.
