This is a lovely cast aluminium machine plate that was once proudly displaying the maker's status as a British manufacturer on a high-quality industrial machine. Hare is actually still in business and based in Oxford, I believe. This plate is in wonderful vintage condition, showing just the right amount of usage. Made from cast aluminium, milled and polished lettering on a painted red turned background. It has pitting to the aluminium, which, in my opinion, adds to the story, but this could easily be lightly sanded and polished to a bright silver finish.

It measures approximately  6 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches or 165mm x 110mm and has two fixing holes.
