This is an opportunity to acquire a lovely Mahogany cylindrical Draughtsman's or Architect's Ruler. It is in wonderful condition, virtually as good as when it was turned. It was probably used around 1850 but clearly well kept, as it was used as a precise measure and would have been an expensive item in its day.
Although expensive, mahogany was primarily used for measuring instruments like this as it is straight-grained and stays straight and true.
A lovely tactile item ready for display, free from repairs or damage.
Measuring approx: 9 inches or 230mm in length 3/4 inch or 20mm diameter (although slightly tapered)
UK shipping is included in the price.
