This wonderful circular, pierced Bakelite fruit bowl sits on a chrome-plated foot. These Art Deco bowls were manufactured in the 1930s and designed to simulate wooden Walnut bowls. Each one was unique, as the marbling differed every time. This one has particularly nice and distinctive deep-maroon patterning.

In stunning condition, free from chips, dings or damage to the Bakelite. The chrome plating to the flared metal foot has taken on a nice luster but is not rusted or pitted.

The overall diameter is 8 inches, and the height is 4 1/2 inches or 200mm x 112mm
