A wonderful Hand Painted Art Deco Jug. Dating from around the 1930s, manufactured by Grays of Stoke on Trent. This vibrant Ovoid-shaped jug is a real showstopper. In superb chip-free condition. There are no cracks, hairlines, repainting or repairs to the body or decoration. The paint is still bright and colourful, some areas showing a more satin appearance. The guilding to the rim and handle are in very good order.
A beautiful Jug that displays nicely.
The underside bears the large Grays rectangular Galleon stamp and a pattern number that appears to read: 9700 R
It measures: 4 3/4 inches tall and just shy of 6 inches wide, including the handle, or 120mm x 160mm.
UK mainland shipping is included in the price. Or a reduction is offered for collection in person from our Derby warehouse.
